Brian has been playing the soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone for over 15 years. With over 100,000 YouTube subscribers and 23,000,000 total video views, he continues his quest to promote these beautiful instruments to the world. Brian is a Cannonball Music, Legere Reeds, Oleg Products, and Reunion Blues performing artist.
His saxophone influences include Paul Desmond, Gerald Albright, David Sanborn, and Lenny Pickett. Through the years Brian has played with countless musicians and backed up world famous headliners like Hunter Hayes, Jason Mraz, Steve Vai, Kenny Burrell, Lester Chambers, Barbara Morrison, O.C. Smith, James Newton, Kei Akagi, Art Davis, Bruce Forman, Anna Sentina, Brett Tuggle, Charles Owens, Jason Sinay, Dwight Treble, Bobby Rodriguez, and Vic "The Brick" Jacobs.
Brian lives in Los Angeles CA and graduated college from UC Irvine where he studied economics and jazz performance. While at UC Irvine, Brian was a member of the Studio Jazz Orchestra and always found himself surrounded by music in one way or another. After college, Brian started his BriansThing YouTube channel because it gave him the creative freedom to do what he loves with the ability to connect with viewers worldwide.
Along with writing and producing digital content, Brian currently performs with a variety of musical groups and as a solo artist throughout the United States.
